2 speed motor (2 star) 3 phase

This is a special type of motor which operate in two speed. The winding of the motor are two nos star connected as shown in the drawing. In low speed two winding are connected in series by external 3 pole contactor & in high speed two winding are connected in parallel by external 3 pole contactor.
